A seasonal word list, in this case a summer list, is one of those classroom tools that is useful to keep around for a variety of miscellaneous uses.  From designing interactive whole-class activities, to creating vocabulary sheets, building end-of-year centers, or playing impromptu games, a nice long list of summer-themed words has so many uses.  For language arts teachers, it just makes preparation for the last quarter of the school year a little bit easier.
